Maybe we can get together sometime. I live on Lake Seminole, close to Bainbridge Ga. There are about twelve Dynes right here in this area. They used to be sold here by the Crosbys.

    JJONES,

How about a picture, and what are you using for power?

I have attached (2) of many pictures, taken from start to finish. This was approx. an 18 month project. The motor is a 1979 150 Mercury. Iam still working out a few bugs with the motor since it sat up some 5-6 years. I did not realize there were so many Hydrodynes in the area.

That is a pretty boat. I like the way it sits low on the trailer. It makes it easy to launch.

There is a special section on the forum for pictures. I would like to see a bunch of the restoration process.

If you still have those original seats you can probably sell them here.

If you need parts or technical help with the motor I can put you in touch with someone here in Central FL.

    Welcome to the forum.

Jim,Thanks. I think it turned out pretty good for someone that didn't know anything about restoring a boat. This boat was offered to me, so I decided since it had alot of personal history I would try my hand at restoring it. I can say it was an experience!!! I will post more pictures next week when I get back home.

We will be taking the boat to Cherry Lake,Lake Seminole, and Flint river this spring. I did not complete the boat in time for last summers enjoyment.

In your restoration did you have to replace the stringers....floors...and transum ..or was it just cosmetic? Is that the ski pylon it came with or did you make that up ??
    Boat looks really nice!!!!

I removed both layers of wood and glass from the floor, I installed new stringers and put in a flat floor. The transom was also replaced. I fabricated the pylon myself. This website made my restoration possible and I thank everyone that took the time to share their experiences and knowledge.

NICE JOB!!!! Beautiful restore. Looks good, can't wait to see more pictures of the inside. Is that a new trailer? It looks completely different from the trailer in your original photo.
