speedometer pickups

    Thanks for the info and ideas.

    I think if I can buy a good 5" speedo on ebay, I will. Then take this one off and work on it,, and if I don't bust it,, I'll have a backup.

    Good idea Kevin.

    I've seen what appear to be 5" black ones which protrude from the dash come up pretty often. But I like yours a lot better.

    I think you might just find the black face plate from the ones described above will fit straight into the speedo you have. It would look great if it worked.

    My boat came equipped with the chrome 5 inch with the black face. I replaced them with new 5 inch black with the black face. I think Daniel still has the chrome with black face.
